Konservasi Indonesia is seeking a qualified and motivated individual as Batang Toru Project Officer in Batang Toru Landscape – North Sumatra, to implement project. Batang Toru Project Officer is responsible for implementing and overseeing program activities within the Batang Toru Landscape in collaboration with the field team based at the Sidimpuan site office. The position plays a key role in delivering programs focused on biodiversity conservation and community livelihood development, while serving as the primary liaison with local stakeholders, including the Forest Management Unit (KPH) and District Government. In addition, the Batang Toru Project Officer is responsible to ensuring the smooth implementation of field activities and maintaining positive relationships with local communities and partners. ‘
The Batang Toru Project Officer is responsible for developing work plans and field activity reports, including the capacity to design and deliver a series of capacity-building trainings for beneficiaries aimed at strengthening forest management in their respective areas. This position will report to Batang Toru Program Manager and based in Tapanuli Selatan (Sidempuan). This position will work closely with other teams in the field office and KI staff in Sundaland region and Jakarta Office.
