About Programs

The Healthy Coral Reefs of Indonesia (TeKSI) Program was launched in 2022 to protect Indonesia’s vast, diverse and robust coral reefs, while reducing poverty and promoting sustainable economic development through culturally appropriate initiatives.

Funded by Global Fund for Coral Reefs (GFCR) and run by Konservasi Indonesia (KI), TeKSI aims to maintain stable and healthy coral cover and diversity and reduce poverty levels through economic and livelihood development initiatives that positively impact coral reefs in the Bird's Head Seascape, Lesser Sunda Seascape, and East Indonesian Indian Ocean Seascape.
